RITTER at the UK Anaerobic Digestion and Biogas Show

By participation in the AD & Biogas Show 2014 at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham – UK, RITTER Apparatebau underlined its role as a leading provider of volumetric gas measuring equipment in the European market.

Visitors to the stand had the opportunity to observe a number of RITTER products – available exclusively in the UK via distribution partner Litre Meter Ltd. – in action. Included in the display was the MilliGascounter, a piece of apparatus for measuring small amounts of gas at ultra-low volume flow rates. With an accuracy of ±3% across the entire measurement range, the MilliGascounter allows the user to measure flow rates of between 1 ml/h and 1 l/h – even for corrosive gases!

Also featured at the stand was the innovative Biogas Batch Fermentation System (BFS), aimed at allowing biogas researchers to carry out measurements of batches with different substrates.  The system enables the user to record real-time measurement results for up to 16 1-litre fermentation flasks simultaneously.

CEO Dr.-Eng. Joachim Ritter said, “The pleasantly high number of concrete requests for quotations received from visitors to our stand made clear to us that this system is capable of meeting an actual need experienced by those working in biogas research.”

All components of the system can be viewed at our Biogas Batch Fermentation System page.
